This privacy notice aims to inform you about the automated processing activities carried out by Antão Medical, Lda.

1 - Who is responsible for processing your personal data? 

Your personal data is processed by Antão Medical, Lda. by its sales department employees, who will be contacted via email at info@antaomedical.pt. Antão Medical, Lda. reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy, which will be communicated via our Landing Page. 2 - What kind of personal and/or institutional data do we process? 

When you contact us by telephone, email or via the contact form, Antão Medical, Lda. collects your name, telephone number, address, VAT number, reason for contact, the content of your communication and its technical details such as date, time, among others. 

If you interact with us at conferences or events at which we are present, we may collect this information whenever you leave us your business card and/or provide us with basic identity information such as name, email, address, telephone number, place of work and position held. 

3 - For what purpose do we use your personal data? 

3.1 Antão Medical, Lda. processes your personal data in order to communicate with you and provide you in a personalised and efficient manner with the information, products and services you have requested by telephone, email, via the Landing Page and at conferences or other events.  

3.2 Antão Medical, Lda. may process your personal data to carry out statistical analyses with the aim of improving our products and services. 

3.3 Antão Medical, Lda. processes your personal data to fulfil legal obligations or to comply with any reasonable request from competent law enforcement officials, judicial authorities, government agencies or bodies, including competent data protection authorities.  

Your data may be transferred by Antão Medical, Lda. on its own initiative to the police or judicial authorities as evidence in the event of justified suspicion of a criminal offence or unlawful act committed by you through communications with us.  

3.4 Antão Medical, Lda. may process your personal data to preserve its legitimate interests, those of its partners and collaborators if and when the use of any communication channel may be considered a violation of any applicable terms of use or the intellectual property rights or any other rights of third parties, a threat to the security and integrity of the site, or a danger to the site in any hateful, obscene, discriminatory, slanderous, racist, malicious or otherwise unlawful or inappropriate manner.

4.2 The processing of your personal data to fulfil the purpose outlined in clause 3.3 is necessary for Antão Medical, Lda. to fulfil its legal obligations. 

4.3 The processing of your personal data for the purposes outlined in clauses 3.1, 3.2, 3.4 is necessary for the legitimate interests of Antão Medical, Lda. which are: 

- to be able to respond effectively to your requests for information or otherwise. 

- communicate your personal data to our operational partners in order to fulfil legal obligations.

5 - What guarantees do we have regarding the quality of the data we collect? 

5.1 Antão Medical, Lda. endeavours to process only the personal and institutional data necessary to achieve the purposes of processing the information collected.

5.2 The data collected is processed only for as long as is necessary for the purposes indicated above or until you withdraw your consent to process it. Antão Medical, Lda. will delete the data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes described, except in the case(s) of: 

. a fundamental interest of Antão Medical, Lda. or any other third party in maintaining your identifiable data.  

. a legal, regulatory, judicial or administrative order that prevents Antão Medical, Lda. from deleting it.  

5.3 Antão Medical, Lda. will take the necessary and appropriate measures to keep your data secure and free from unauthorised access or theft, as well as accidental loss, tampering or destruction. Access by Antão Medical, Lda. employees or third parties will only take place when necessary and is subject to confidentiality obligations. However, this security can never be fully guaranteed, despite our best endeavours to do so.  

6 - What are my rights? 

6.1 You have the right to request access to all your personal data processed by Antão Medical, Lda. Antão Medical, Lda. reserves the right to charge an administrative fee if several access requests are made that are unequivocally presented to cause inconvenience or prejudice to the company. 

6.2 You have the right to request, free of charge, that your incorrect personal data be corrected. If you submit a request for correction, it must be accompanied by proof of the faulty nature of the data you wish to be rectified. 

6.3 You have the right to withdraw your previous consent (as per clause 4.1) to process your personal data. 

6.4 You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes described above or if you withdraw your consent to its processing. However, please note that a request for deletion will be assessed by Antão Medical, Lda. in relation to:  

6.4.1 overriding interests of Antão Medical, Lda. or any third party; 

6.4.2 legal or regulatory obligations, administrative or judicial orders that may contradict such deletion; 

Instead of deletion, you may request that Antão Medical, Lda. restrict the processing of your personal data if:  

6.4.3 you refute the accuracy of such data; 

6.4.4 the processing is unlawful; 

6.4.5 the data is no longer necessary for the purposes described above, and you may need it for your defence in legal proceedings. 

6.5 You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if you can prove that there are justified and adequate reasons relating to your particular circumstances justifying such objection. If the intended processing is categorised as direct marketing, you may object to its processing without justification and free of charge. 

6.6 You have the right to receive all the data you have provided to us in a structured and legible format. 

6.7 For all matters relating to the rights of data subjects, if you wish to make a request to exercise one or more of the rights listed above, you can send an email to info@antaomedical.pt. This request must clearly and specifically state which right you wish to exercise and the reasons for it. It must be dated, signed and accompanied by a digital copy of your valid identity card. Antão Medical, Lda. will inform you immediately of the receipt of your request and, if the request is justified, will notify you as soon as possible.
